Yes. Donations to Birthing the Magic Collaborative are generally tax deductible because BTM is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization recognized by the IRS. BTM’s EIN is 88-4380113.

Your donation goes directly to keeping Birthing the Magic Collaborative running and delivering free, culturally grounded education to Black birthing people and the people who love them.
We are an entirely volunteer run organization. Because we do not have paid staff, your support primarily covers essential operating costs that make our work possible, including technology and platform fees, website and email tools, event production and hosting, design and communications support, and the behind the scenes expenses required to plan, promote, and deliver our programs consistently.

Yes. You can volunteer or get involved, and we have options that fit different schedules and skill sets.
If you want to support ongoing work, volunteers help with event moderation, community engagement and outreach, social media support, email and communications, admin coordination, and partner outreach.
If you prefer a short term commitment, we also welcome project based support, for example helping with the annual fundraiser, editing or repurposing event recordings into short clips, building simple resource guides, or supporting one campaign or event week.

Yes. You can donate in honor or in memory of someone.
When you make your gift, include the person’s name and note whether it is “in honor of” or “in memory of” them in the dedication or message field. If the form allows, you can also add an email or mailing address for the honoree or the family, and we will send an acknowledgment of your tribute gift.
If you do not see a dedication field on the giving page you are using, you can still make the donation and then email us the dedication details so we can record it correctly and send the acknowledgment.
