Black Motherhood is a Birthright.
Not a Battle.
Too often, Black women are ignored, dismissed, or forced to navigate their birthing journeys without care that reflects their culture or values. We are here to change that.
Our programs offer free, affirming, and accessible perinatal education. We work with Black experts from across the diaspora who understand that birth is more than a medical experience. It is emotional. It is ancestral. It is personal.
Our work is about more than improving outcomes. It is about reclaiming joy. Restoring power. And protecting life.
At Birthing the Magic Collaborative, we believe Black birthing people deserve care that protects their lives, honors their voices, and uplifts their humanity.
We are a collective of doctors, nurses, doulas, midwives, healers, educators, storytellers, and advocates working together to radically transform the experience of birth. We are reimagining what it means to prepare for pregnancy, bring life into the world, and be deeply supported in the weeks and months that follow.
Our Focus
We provide culturally grounded, evidence-informed education, advocacy, and support that centers Black birthing people. Our work helps families navigate a complex and often unjust maternal health system while protecting their emotional and physical well-being.
We focus on six key areas of pregnancy, birth, and parenting:
Labor & Delivery
Postpartum Care
