Marie Boone-Clark is the cofounder of Birthing the Magic Collaborative (BTM), and serves as the Executive Director of the organization.

With decades of experience collaborating with hospital systems, clinicians, and nonprofit leaders, Marie brings a rare blend of strategic insight and deep community connection to her work.

BTM grew from lived experience. When her daughter faced a high risk twin pregnancy, Marie was able to draw on her professional background and trusted relationships to assemble a care team that provided respectful, culturally aligned support. That season clarified what becomes possible when Black families are met with care instead of barriers, and what is at stake when they are not.

Through BTM, Marie helps ensure Black birthing people have access to timely knowledge, practical tools, and advocacy support. She also consults with small businesses and nonprofit leaders, supporting strategic growth, organizational development, and 501(c)(3) formation.

Marie’s work is rooted in a simple belief. Black motherhood is a birthright, not a battle.
